Video installation that reimagines two masterpieces by Tiepolo and Velázquez in the Prado collection through computational methods. Composition, color-schemes and geometrical features of Tiepolo’s Immaculate Conception and Velázquez’s Las Meninas are analyzed by algorithms, gradually revealing new abstract formations. Delving beneath its iconographic appearance, the work celebrates new algorithmic and non-human aesthetics.
